Patrick Davis, BSME, PE

Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2019 from the University of Alabama. At Alabama he worked as a co-op student for Shaw Industries at Plant WE in Dalton, Georgia and Austal USA in Mobile, AL.
At Plant WE he worked with the plant engineer, process engineers and mechanics to troubleshoot issues with malfunctioning pieces of equipment at the plant, as well as create drawings and 3D models for potential new pieces of equipment. After workdays at the plant Patrick would assist a local semi-retired machinist (nicknamed Boone), where he was taught how to use machine tools.
While at Austal Patrick worked in the mechanical engineering department where he assisted the department engineers with pipe system analyses, HVAC system analyses, and software/process documentation.
Patrick has been working at 3 Axis Engineering since he graduated in 2019 and earned his Professional Engineering license in March of 2024. He supports the team with conducting vehicle and scene investigations, creating accurate scaled drawings and 3D models, and conducting the various types of analyses required in the field of accident reconstruction.
In his free time Patrick enjoys motorcycling and pistol shooting.
