Photogrammetry

Our photogrammetry techniques can be used to

  • measure data that may have been lost over time
  • efficiently measure large amounts of data
  • accurately represent the shape and details of tire marks
  • gather data from scenes with high traffic density
  • create detailed profiles of damaged vehicles
Two types of photogrammetry we use
  • Reverse Projection - An analog method in which we turn available photographs into transparent slides we can "project" onto the scene through a camera's viewfinder
  • PhotoModeler - A digital software program that can orient provided photographs with known coordinates and/or triangulation
